Suggest Pioglitazone Dosage For Blood Suagr

Dr, When I take Glimstar M1 after my breakfast. I feel some increase of pulpitation, Also My doctor advised me to take Pioglitazone 15mg After Brack fast. Why ? And tell me how can I intake the medicine in a successful way to control my blood sugar level?

Hello
Since you are having palpitations after the use of glimstar-M , so your doctor prescribed PIOGLITAZONE 15 mg after breakfast .
Note down about few things about pioglitazone so you will understand better.
Following oral administration in the FASTING STATE , pioglitazone is first measurable in serum within the 30 minutes, with peak concentration observed within 2 hours.
Food slightly delays the time to peak serum concentration to 3 to 4 hours , but does not alter the the extent of absorption.
This means you can take this drug on empty stomach and even after food but its peak concentration will not alter .
