Suggest Preventive Medication For Allergic Wheezing
my daughter get wheezing twice a year....once in april and then in December...she is usually treated by the paediatrician with prednisone and deriphylin retard. is there any preventive medicine she can take these two months, so that there is no need for oral steroids? my daughter is 13

It seems that your daughter might be having seasonal allergic asthmatic bronchitis.
This might be due to allergy to dust or some pollen bodies allergy.
Try to find out the allergen and avoid it.
During this season wear face mask and avoid going to dusty,dumpy atmosphere.
During this season she should take Montelukast with Levo-cetrizine for 1-2 weeks.
