Suggest Remedies For An Yellow Bruise Like Mark On Lower Abdomen

My son has had these yellow bruise like marks appearing on his lower abdomen and one on this back. There has been to injury or trauma I m aware of. The marks start out looking yellow, like highlighter. The next day they maybe gone, or some will be gone and a new one appear. Should I have this looked at?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I am of the opinion that early bruises appear black in colour and later on, turn yellow.
However, to be on safer side kindly take him into confidence and ask for any peer pressure incidences of bullying at school.
It is advisable to meet the physician regarding this. On clinical examination, if any findings are positive based on history and symptoms then the doctor may advice blood tests related to liver function done along with an ultrasound abdomen.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
