Hello,my name is dr.Dorina Gurabardhi
The burning sensation while urinating is caused by pyelonephritis is your case.
Here are some tips to avoid painful urination:
-Drink lots of water every day to cleanse your system.
-Urinate as soon as you feel the urge to urinate to reduce the risk of infection.
-Avoid eating spicy and sugary foods. They can irritate the linings of your bladder, cause pelvic cramps and also burden your kidneys and bladder.
-Avoid drinking alcohol and caffeinated beverages like tea, coffee. They tend to stimulate bladder irritation and cause dehydration.
-Avoid eating tomatoes and citrus foods.
-Follow proper hygiene daily.
-Change sanitary towels regularly during periods.
-Avoid using products like soap, oils or talc around the genital area that can cause irritation.
-Avoid wearing tight clothes.
If the symptoms coctinue you should probably visit your doctor to continue the antibiotic therapy.

First of all, we need to know what do you mean with fever? How do you measure your body temperature? and what do you mean with not encouranging results. After answering those questions, medical personel need to measure your vital signs in order to be sure that you are having a fever and recognize a failure in the treatment. If there is in fact a failed treatment, there is a testing period of three days before changing antibiotics.
