Suggest Remedies For Constant Pain In Right-sided Lower Abdomen

Hi Doctor, I have been feeling a constant ache in my right lower abdominal. It began in the middle of my period after a step class and has been persistent since. It hurts most when moving from standing to sitting or sitting to standing and when going to the toilet. The pain has been there for 5 days. Mostly it is an ache but also can make me feel like I need to go to the toilet or pass wind. Thank you

Oncologist 's  Response
Hello,

The classic symptoms of appendicitis include: Dull pain near the navel or the upper or lower abdomen that becomes sharp as it moves to the lower right abdomen; this is usually the first sign, but it occurs in less than half of appendicitis cases.

Nausea or vomiting soon after abdominal pain begins. Abdominal swelling.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Monish De, Oncologist
