Suggest Remedies For Constipation

i am 66 years old. i have very tight motion and i have to practically take it our by hand during motion. i get exhausted by that action. fortunately no pain as on date. about 10 years back, i underwent piles surgery and thereafter there was no problem till date. what is the remedy.

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
You have fecal impaction. You need to take stool softeners for evacuating it.

For good bowel movements you need to do the following -
1. Take high fiber diet - eat lot of vegetables and fruits. You can take fiber supplements like metamucil
2. Drink adequate fluids
3. Have adequate physical activity - walk at 30 minutes everyday.
