Suggest Remedies For Discomfort From Sternum Plate Placed During Lung Transplant

Hello, I had a double lung transplant 6 weeks ago & I am having a lot of discomfort from the butterfly shaped sternum plate that was sewn in the sternum. Will this very uncomfortable feeling ( feels like a vise) ever go away? What is the cause & how can I deal with this extremely uncomfortable feeling?

Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with discomfort around your sternum plate inserted in your sternum following a lung transplant I will suggest you see a pulmonologist specialist for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription

Meanwhile please take tablet Tylenol pending your appointment
