Suggest Remedies For Dislocation Form Knee Down After A Hip Replacement

I have had some continuing edema to both legs, primarily from knee down. Just recently have had bilateral hip total replacement. (Sept/Dec) Also just recently found swiming/aquatic exercise significantly reduced edema but severe discoloration remains.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

I have studied your case.

Physiotherapist will help you better along with exercises with proper protocol.
Discoloration will go gradually you can apply thrombhophobe ointment.

It can be due to anticoagulant use after joint replacement.

Diet rich in calcium and protein will help for recovery.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
