Suggest Remedies For Herniated Problem Causing Choking On Food And Vomiting
Hello, My daughter has trouble when eating ,she momentarilly chokes on the food and then may throw up.She has been to the doctor s and was told that she has a herniated problem. My daugher was not specific in what was herniated, she has a great many other problems. What is herniated in the neck or throat, and what can be done to help her. I know not seeing her,a correct program of help can not be provided, but just some general help that I could help her with. Thank you
The main symptoms are choking on swallowing and possible vomiting. Hence, the need is as follows: - Consult an ENT Surgeon for endoscopy to see if there is any problem in the throat, upper GI endoscopy to see for any problem with esophagus, stomach, GERD and so on. - Barium swallow studies for throat and esophagus. - Being a female pernicious anemia can the similar symptoms. Hence a proper diagnosis alone can guide for the most appropriate management. - Symptomatic treatment with a PPI like Omeprazole, antacid and Domperidone may help.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
