Suggest Remedies For High Fever In Baby

Hi my baby girl is 7 and 1/2 month old and she is having fever from 98 to 100.4 degree F. When i touch the other parts of the body like palm, legs i can't feel that much tempreature, but i can really feel the tempreature on her forehead. i tried giving her crocin syrup, but she is unable to take, she is vomitting actually. i'm really worried plz suggest what should i do?

Hi..In younger age forehead temperature is more as compared to the body temperature. See if otherwise the child is asymptomatic then you should focus on oral intake and fluid intake so that the child doesn't become dehydrated. Also if you feel worried you can do cold sponging. Any unnecessary medication given will be vomited out by the child.
