Suggest Remedies For Pain In Left Groin, loss Of Appetite And Weight Loss
My Mom, who has severe dementia, has a 'mass' on her lung, which we have chosen not to biopsy (found about 2 years ago)' has recently begun experiencing severe pain in her left arm, professing to below her rib cage most often on the left side and most recently pain in the left side of her groin. She has a low dosage fentanyl patch (12 microgrograms) for sciatica. She has had significant weight loss, loss of appetite, extremely low blood pressure 90/50. My Mom is 85, and I'd just like whatever I can do to make her comfortable.
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Due to pain and associated stress, she is significantly malnourished due to loss of appetite and weight loss has also occurred. 2. Due to dehydration, low blood pressure is seen. 3. Will require X-ray of chest along with ultrasound of abdomen to evaluate for any pathology. 4. Until pathology is identified, treatment is not possible. So evaluation is necessary for further treatment. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
