Suggest Remedies For Recurring Cough, Headache, Dizziness And Vomiting

I had a cough two weeks again more like my sinuses. Since then I have had a headache almost everyday. It starts in my neck goes up the back of my head to the top. Yesterday while riding in my car, I felt like I had motion sickness. I felt dizzy, pain up my neck, and vomited. Later felt better then head and neck hurting again with nausea. Sometimes get hot feeling but leaves. Blood pressure normal. Taking Tylenol every 4 hrs. Helps some but never leaves completely.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your history of cough for 2 weeks, like sinus problems, now neck pain at back going to head, motion sickness, vomiting and son.
It seems from your history that your have muscle spasm in neck muscles causing pinched nerves that in turn cause headache at the back side.
This can be severe enough to cause nausea, vomiting, giddiness and so on.
Hene I would advise you the following:
First of all take care of neck pain by getting examined by your Doctor, MRI of neck if needed and further management as per the findings.
Now for the coughing and sinus like symptoms:
Consult an ENT for proper clinical evaluation, ENT endoscopy examination, necessary investigations to get a cause and get treated accordingly.
Severe coughing can increase your neck and head problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant, ENT & General Surgeon
