First thing ipratropium bromide spray cant be taken continuously for more than 4-5 days.. after 5 days at least you need to give a break of 7-10 days.. otherwise you develop drug induced rhinitis which is hard to treat.. Now stop ipratropium spray for at least 15-20days.. Coming to treatment of rhinitis -safest thing you can do whenever you want is nasal douching.. cleaning your nasal passages with home made solution -using anti histaminics on and off.. use them for a four days then give a break of four days.. like that you can use even few months as it doesnt cause much problem at this age -using steroid nasal spray if condition is not improving with supervision of ENT specialist Hope your problem will be solved soon and you enjoy your second innings..
