I am taking clindamycin for a staph infection I had a week ago and two days ago I started popping up with little red bumps that itch.i read up on the me d s and it had a side effect of a rash and itching.whay should I do and how long will it last. I m still itchinh

All medications are associated with potential side effects that may or may not occur.

It is possible for a rash to occur as a result of using the clindamycin.

The rash should improve when the medication is discontinued.
You should consider the use of oral antihistamines and a mild topical steroid to help.

These should be available over the counter.
