Suggest Remedies For Sore Throat And Swollen Tonsils

Hello, Saturday morning I woke up with a sore throat. My right tonsils was swollen and has a handful of white bumps on my one tonsil. I took some cold medicine because I thought it was post nasal drip. This did not help at all. As the day went on I started to feel very sore and weak. Sunday morning I woke up and it did not get any better so I went to the emergency quick care. The doctor did a strep test and it came back negative. I asked her if it was tonsillitis since I had it last summer. She laughed and said no. She said it was bad allergies. She prescribed me a Z Pack, Flo Nase and Claritin. It is now Tuesday night and I can not talk due to my tonsil being even more swollen, my jaw hurts, my heart hurts, and I can t eat or swallow without it hurting.
