Suggest Remedies For Swollen Salivary Glands

Hi a have a salivary gland swollen its small and stated off with a white end now its gone small and redish now im worried because every thing i read says it could be HIV ive seen my doctor and have been referred to a specialist . I feel well all o cam think of is i have a wisdom tooth comeing through and have been useing a eclectic cigarette im very worried now

As per your complain if you have a swollen salivary gland and wisdom tooth is coming in then it seems to be most probably due to swollen lymph nodes and not salivary gland..

Secondly if it started off as a white head and also if it was a swelling on surface then it can be hair follicle infection or folliculitis and not gland or lymph node as they appear swelling under the skin..

I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray can help in diagnosis and treated accordingly..

It however does not seems to be anywhere related to cancer so do not worry..
