Suggest Remedies To Reduce Crying Of A Baby While Feeding
hello my daughter is 8 weeks old and cries hysterically during most feeds so much so that she is unable to drink her milk. she takes gaviscon infant, lactulose and ranitidine. do you have any suggestions as to how to reduce the crying during feeding.
Hi, Thank you for asking question on health care magic. Firstly let me know whether she is breastfed or on formula feeds. At this age most of the babies have colicky pain usually starts in the evening and continues beyond midnight. Colimex-DF drops 3-4 times daily will give relief from crying. If she is formula fed proper amount of feed correct amount of water to be added to milk powder, and number of feeds, quantity must ascertained from your doctor. Why lactulose and other medicines given to the baby is not mentioned. Hope this answer will serve your purpose Please feel free to ask any more queries if required Take care Dr.M.V.Subrahmanyam MD;DCH Associate professor of pediatrics
