Suggest Remedy For BP Being 80/50 And Fatigue With Smoking And Drinking Habits

My blood pressure is 80 over 50. I am a male, 64 yrs old, pulse is 81. I am 6ft, 210lbs, I consider flabby, smoke, drink vodka, blended whisky, always mixed, mostly every day. Can work 4 to 6 hrs hard labor every 3 days, or more if necessary.

After 5 hrs of hard labor, or more, espicalilly the next day or two, I feel very tired and have to take a day off.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello,

Your blood pressure is on the lower side, however, if it has been your blood pressure over long-period, it can be normal. Pulse 81 is on the higher side but normal. Your drinking habits are a problem, check your liver enzymes as they may be elevated.

Your current pattern of drinking will lead to problems like liver failure, memory problems, depression, accidents, etcetera. Therefore I suggest consult a psychiatrist for advices to cut down the amount of the drink, and if possible totally stop drinking.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pankaj Borade
