Pulmonologist 's  Response
In our practice we usually consider IPF as end stage disease. Many drugs are under pipeline but nothing seems promising. Latest one is Tab perfinodone which said to be anti fibrotic. Other is N Acetyl Cystine which is anti inflammatory , antioxidant and mucolytic. In my practice I prefer perfinodone and NAC with steroids on off. With home O2 and other supportive medicines like calcium and multivitamins and PPI s are useful.
