Suggest Remedy For Abdominal Cramps, Chills And Diarrhea

Hi I had pneumonia for 2 weeks, on tetracycline for 2 weeks seemed to be getting better went back to wrok yesterday and started having stomach pains and cramps during the night with loose stools. Today chills l are back, aching, and low grade fever, coughing 99.0F usually i run normall temp 96-97 .At the beginning of the illness I had102. I have one pill left to take tonight. I ve had the flu about 3 weeks ago, 2 pneumonia pneumonia shots

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of abdominal cramps, chills and diarrhea. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like food poisoning , irritable bowel syndrome , gastroenteritis , medication reaction or side-effect , hyperthyroidism. Need not to worry. For now eat small and frequent meals and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain. You should take plenty of fluids. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may examined completely, will take history and order ultrasound and stool test. Doctor may prescribe antiviral or antibacterial depending upon the diagnosis along with loperamide , analgesic or omeprazole.
