im 24 years old , 8st 9 and 5ft3ish , i have a dull ache pain at the bottom left of my back which no doctors have been able to tell me what it is yet , it started 4 years ago , i went in hospital it was that bad then it stopped and started again 2 years later then stopped and now i have it again- iv been on naproxen , dihydrocodeine ( which made me feel sick so stopped) and diclofenac which helped a bit but still there. I also have a weird pain tht lasts a couple of seconds on the middle left side of my back and the middle left side on my front ?? and get period like pains when my period is not due - is there something serious wrong with me :( im 24 , dont smoke and hardly drink and eat healthy?? please help
welcome to Health care magic. 1.If you are my patient i would have start with a x-ray lumbar spine AP/LAT and to detect fi there is any bony pathology. 2.Depending up on the findings, i would ask for a MRI scan to find the Disk, Nerve, and chord pathology. 3.Some times just back pain exercise on regular basis with appropriate flat bed and make sure of the position will help. 4.If there is any pathology in the scans then need flu intervention / operation may be needed. 5.For your age, i would recommend you to concentrate on exercise and it will help.
