General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello and thank you for asking HCM,

I understand your concern. Regarding to your symptoms, it seems like you are having problems with your stomach, gastroesophageal reflux. This means that your stomach content returns to your oesophagus and upper into your throat and mouth. This could be the reason why you feel like if something is caught up into your throat. My suggestion is to visit a gastroenterologist and make proper examination. Until than try to take once a day, the best in the morning, once of these medication, omeprazol, esomeprazol or pantoprazolum. Try to sleep with your head a little bit higher than the rest of your body.

I hope this answer was helpful to you.
