I am 58, height is 5'3" weight is 185 its about 2 months I have had severe stomach pain first on the right and now on the left side and have had two bladder infections. I had a procedure done last week with an endoncrinlogist, and they said they will have to do another one again because i still had food in my stomach and this time they want me to drink clear liquids the day before. Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your clinical history and query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Drinking plenty of water will dilute the infection and will reduced frequency risk
2. Avoid getting dehydrated. Other causes, especially urethral infection or improper hygiene increases the risk.
3. Maintain proper hygiene and good nutrition with protein and vitamin rich diet.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
