Hi there,
I have had really bad stomach pains for the past three days now. My lower stomach was very bloated, and I haven't used the bathroom a lot so after taking anti gas pills to see if it would help the bloating, I took a stool softner pill yesterday. Went to the bath room maybe four hours later after taking it. Today my upper belly, kind of under my diaphram is having SHARP pains and is bloated. It hurts soo bad when the pain comes I have to take deep breaths, once it goes aways I'm fine. It seems the only thing that helps is if I lay down flat or have my knees pulled up to my chest. Is there somthing else I can do to help this?

-Use simethicone medicine. -Avoid chewing gum. -Limit your intake of carbonated drinks. -Avoid foods that cause gas, such as vegetables in the cabbage family, dried beans, and lentils. -Eat slowly and avoid drinking through a straw. -Use lactose-free dairy products (if you are lactose intolerant).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
