Suggest Remedy For Bouts Of Cough, Constant Clearing Of Throat With Acid Reflux

In January I had a bad bout with acid reflux and started coughing excessively and clearing my throat. Now in September, I feel a place on my throat that is sensitive to air and makes me cough.......not coughing excessively, but makes me cough from time to time.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1.Excessive GERD can reflux and irritate the pharynx.
2. This inflammation secondary to acid reflux will cause severe bouts of coughing and laryngitis too.
3. Take proton pump inhibitors along with domperidone to reduce GERD. Avoid spicy foods. Take serratiopeptidase with NSAIDS to reduce pain. Also take throat lozenges to soothe throat.
