Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You are worsening on Ventorlin. Ventorlin is a short acting inhaled bronchodilator, so it's action stays for only 2-3 hours. You were also not given mucolytic and expectorant drug along with inhaler. So your secretions are not coming out and you become more symptomatic.

So in my opinion you should start
1. Ultra long acting inhaled bronchodilators (Indacaterol and Glycopyrronium).
2. N acetyl cystine (NAC) along with inhaler. NAC is pulmonary anti -oxidant, mucolytic, expectorant and anti inflammatory drug.

Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.

Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further.

Wish you good health!

Thanks.
