Hello,

As mentioned you had a radial head fracture - did you take an x-ray at least for it. And what does the x-ray say?

Does it require a surgery or it's just a hairline fracture. in either of the case, the POP is a must to immobilize the Forearm bones so healing can occur faster.

If not taken an x-ray then do it first. And since you mentioned the physician didn't do a plaster than I think it might be a hairline fracture.

Based on the clinical examination and x-ray reports we can decide what the treatment plan will be.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
