Suggest Remedy For Bump In Outer Ear Canal

my 4 year old son had a very small bruise in his outer ear canal about 1 month ago. It then turned into a small red bump with a little puss, which I thought was a pimple. Then is got a light scab and when the scab came off, it was just red and I thought it was going away. Now it got an even bigger scab and when that came off this morning, it looks worse than ever. The bump is redish purple and looks fluid filled and wet. It also has a very small puss sack at one point on the outer edge. Should I take him to a doctor?

hello, thanks for ur query, in my opinion it started with furuncle going towords otitis externa( whole external auditory canal infected) u need to see an ent surgeon for antibiotic drops, steroid drops( itching & erythema). kindly visit an ent surgeon for proper treatment. all the best. take care.
