Suggest Remedy For Chest Congestion

sir im32 yr female i am suffering from chest cong. from 4 weeks .i got choked when i had cough than i got vomit i got diagnosed doc say bronchitis he gave levoflox 500 dephyllin 300 omnacortil 20 tds. i want to know wheather ishould go for chest spl.. becoz i have taken dis med.for 4 weeks.plz help

I can understand your concern.
Yes, you should definitely consult pulmonologist (chest specialist).
You are mostly having bronchitis. And beat treatment fir bronchitis is inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
You are not taking these drugs and hence you are not improving even after 4 weeks.
To prescribe exact dose of these drugs, we need to know the severity of your bronchitis. And for this you should get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test). This will notify only diagnose bronchitis but will also tell about severity of the disease.
So better to consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
