Suggest Remedy For Chronic Diarrhea

have had diarrhea for 1 year. inset upon arrival in Bahamas last June. Blood and stool came back fine. Was put on 2 types antibiotics (taken off of 1 after less than 24 hrs, to be put on another) Was coming about once a week, now every day. Finally got in to see gastro and have colonoscopy and endoscopy scheduled next month. Tonight had water diarrhea with what appeared to be whole black olives or large blueberries. Have not consumed either... should I get to dr before gastro appt.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history And understood your concerns.
The changes in the stool indicate that there is indigestion, may be pancreatic insufficiency, irritable bowel or so on. Antibiotics should have been effective. But they did not help.
You may please do the following things:
Send stool sample for tests on 3 consecutive days.
Start on probiotics.
Activated charcoal tablets.
Yogurt and bananas.
Make a list of foods and beverages that instigate or enhance the problems and stop them strictly.
Avoid stress and anxiety.
Rest of the investigation and treatment as advised by a Gastroenterologist.
