Hi there. My name is Jodi.I am a 35 year old mother of four and back pain is really starting to interfere with my enjoyment of life! I have a bulging disc at l5 s1 that is touching the adjacent nerve root that has been verified by MRI. The doc also suspects that i have a similar problem at c6-c7 based on the tingling in my arms and hands. The pain is excruciating at times. Just this morning I awoke with an entirely new pain in the middle of my back, feels similar to the other pains in my back but in a different location. Wondering what is going on here, and why it seems to be happening so rapidly....I am on tramadol for pain, which i am told is not particularly addictive, as well as topamax. As for a root cause of all this, I have not been given an answer. Is there an actual name for what is happening to me?
Hi, From history it seems that there might be having pinched nerve problem dueto degenerative changes in your lumbar and cervical spines and intervertebral discs. This is called spondilitis. Due to having four deliveries there might be having some osteoporosis in vertebrae can also give this problem. Physiotherapy, short way diathermy will be of much helpful. Take plenty of milk. Take Calcium, vitamin A and D supplements. Ok and take care.
