Suggest Remedy For Constant Belching While On Medication For GERD And Gastritis

I was just recently diagnosed with GERD, gastritis and a hernia. I have been taking zantac, dexilant and reglin prescribed by my doctor for one week. Everything is calming down but I now have constant belching that wont go away. What could be the cause of the belching and what can I do about it?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The belching is part of the reflux and gastritis. It should decrease with the consistent use of the medication.

You may also need to alter your diet to see if this helps. Reducing foods associated with increased gas production would help eg broccoli, cabbage, turnips, cauliflower, beans, carbonated drinks, prunes

I hope this helps
