Suggest Remedy For Constant Burning Sensation In Toe After Injury

Age, 44, female, active and fit. I injured my left toe, while doing some chores around the house, the toe bent forward and in with force. Didn t realize the pain so much at the time, but over the past week the pain increased, not all times. It has a burning sensation, looks slightly bluish, have been applying ice sometimes during the day. Looks like the overall pain has lessened. Should I be worried about anything, like the burning sensation at times. Also, the pain seems to be riding up from he middle of the sole to the toe gradually.

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you got injury your left toe. It is likely to be soft tissue injury. No need to worry. However you should get x ray of it done to exclude fracture. Treatment of it is rest, icing and analgesics (diclofenac ).Vitamin B-complex and Vitamin C supplementation can used to promote healing. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
