Suggest Remedy For Constant Stinging And Burning In Genital And Lower Abdominal Area

Hi I have constant stinging and burning in the genital area and lower abdomial area , also a constant urge to urinate although it is not painful to do so. Urine test clear.i am 59 yrs. doctor has given me hormone cream but after 5 days use i have no relief and the other medication I am taking for osteopenia makes the burning much worse so I have had to stop taking it. i am really worried. What do you think I should do?

A burning lower abdomen with stinging genitals may indicate a fungal or viral infection of the skin layer or drug-induced skin condition as there is mention of exacerbation of the issue after medication for osteopenia.

Gentle precautions as follows will help you till you consult your dermatologist

- tub bath with lukewarm water added Epsom salt and lavender oil (natural)
- do not scratch the areas
- wear loose, clean, cotton clothes
- avoid direct or excess sun exposure
- keep blood sugar control
- maintain hydration with plenty of liquids
- Phenylephrine or Pseudoephedrine will help for primary relief.

Should discuss the need for antifungal and antibacterial medications during your visit to a doctor.
