Suggest Remedy For Constipation With Loose Stools

I am normally VERY constipated, however the last few days have had formed but loose stool. Noticed just now cream/white colour string stuff. I removed from toilet to look more closely and tried to spread/straighten out. It broke quite easily. I had some steak at the weekend, and at first thought it might have been a ribbon of fat from that, but I always cut fat off of meat as don t like eating it. I ve also been quite bloated with stomach cramps before needing to go to the toilet. Is this a type of worm?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

In your case, parasite segment can be there, which can be seen grossly. It can be thick mucus and pus cells can be found.

So stool routine micro examination has to be done.

If parasite egg, larva seen in it, then Albendazole may be prescribed.

Drink more water and fruit juices.

Avoid excess spicy foods.

You can provide reports for giving more comment.
