Suggest Remedy For Cough,chest Congestion And Uneasiness In Breathing

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...Sir: I have sore throat & continuous cough last 3 weeks. Consulted ENT surgeon first, then family physician and took 4 different antibiotics prescribed by doctors. Still having cough, chest congestion, uneasiness in breething etc. Kindly suggest whether I should consult a good pulmonologist. X-ray chest shows bronchitis.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you are having persisting bronchitis then you may need a short course of oral steroids to decrease the inflammation in your chest.

These are commonly given in persons with bronchitis not responding otherwise.
They would be given for 4 to 5 days along with your other medication.
