Suggest Remedy For Diarrhea And Chest Pain While On Prilosec

I ve been on prilosec for one month to help with bloating, and intestinal pain. I have now developed severe diarrhea and chest pain. I have never been diagnosed with anything yet. I was told that I had a large amount of bacteria in my small intestine.

Welcome to Health Care Magic. Thank you for posting your query.
I can understand your concern.

I would suggest you to continue with the Prilosec to prevent bloating. Take tablet Lomotil and Ofloxacin. This will reduce the diarrhoea.
Your doctor can guide you on the exact dosage.

COnsult your doctor for further investigations like Upper GI endoscopy or double balloon endoscopy to have a look at your small intestine.

Hope this helps.
Reply with thanks.
Regards.
