I took my medications which are many , and I took 2 sleeping pills the night before , trying to change my sleeping habits. But the sleeping pills I took where my husbands who passed away 4 months a ago from cancer. I was in A store yesterday , and had diarehha, vomiting and chills and I was so cold , dizzy, weak that they had to call an ambulance. I had a gastric bypass 8 yrs. ago . They put an I.V. In and zolfran for nausea and some to take home. But when I got home , I had diarrhea again , only there was a stream of blood with it . I am 65 yrs. old . Today , I have been drinking water and Gadoraid for the electrolytes , had some cereal and a small piece of garlic bread and tomato sauce. Had to run to the bathroom again and it was more blood then , feces. I also have been on Imodium. Could it be a reaction from those sleeping pills (Tamzapam 15 mile) that could be causing the bloody stools? Or could it be the start of colon cancer? Never have had a colonscapy. Thank you!
