Suggest Remedy For Difficulty In Movement Of Hands

I am having problems with my hands. They feel fat and it no longer feels natural when I try to close them (my rings still fit so they are no larger). They no longer register certain information---for example if my hands are dry, i cannot feel it. My fine motor skills are seriously compromised. I cannot register how much pressure i am applying to things. I have to use focus and conscious effort to control pencils/pens in order to write. When my arms are elevated and I bend my head, I feel a tingle running down both my arms to my fingertips. My doctor thought it might be carpal tunnel and recommended getting wrist cock up splints---a few weeks later and they have made no difference.

If carpal tunnel diagnosis is confirmed then you may need surgical release.
MRI will also help you.
Another possibility of peripheral neuropathy.
EMG NCV study will help in diagnosis.
