Suggest Remedy For Discolored, Swollen, Painful Knee After A Fall During Pregnancy

Hi. Im currently 27 weeks pregnant, and I took a bad fall about a week ago. I mainly hit my knee and elbow, and didn t hit my stomach. Baby is fine, but my knee is black and blue, swollen, and still very painful. My elbow is also bruised, but not nearly as bad. I have been taking Tylenol, but it s so painful to apply ice that I am unable to do so often. I have a toddler, so staying off my feet isn t an option. I was just wondering if there was another treatment I could try.

Hi Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you are pregnant and you got injury to your knee and elbow. You are already taking analgesic. Icing is helpful. You want to know other options. As you are pregnant so least medicines are advisable to you. Splintage can be of help to reduce pain. Rest is advisable. You can discuss with your doctor about it. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
