Suggest Remedy For Dry Mouth, sore Tongue, diarrhea And Piles
I am taking omeprazole on prescription and after two weeks I am suffering from a dry mouth and sore tongue, Diorrehea, and piles (which I have not been troubled with for thitry years). Can all of this be attributed to Omeprazole and if so is there an alternative?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood the concerns. If you think that all the symptoms of dry mouth, sore tongue, diarrhea and piles started after taking Omeprazole then you need to stop this, consult your Doctor for further evaluation ,examination and investigations of stool, blood and urine. Change over to Ranitidine may help. If intestinal infection has caused this then you need to take an antibiotic active against intestinal infection, metronidazole, probiotics, symptomatic and supportive treatment. Consult a Doctor to get a probable diagnosis and go for additional investigations and management. Multivitamins, folic acid and mineral help for early recovery.
