Suggest Remedy For Ear Ailment
April 1, 2011 woke up with ear ache and went to doctor and he indicated that I had some fluid on the ear and the ear drum was bulging and red. He gave me an antibiotic. I took that for approx 2 weeks. He then gave me a steriod and I made an appointment with an ear, nose and throat specialist. He did not find any fluid but I told him it felt like by ear canal was being pinched. He gave me a hearing test and hearing was ok. He gave me some ear drops and told me to get Mucinex-D. Today is June 28 and my ear canals mainly the left ear still feels pinched or very tight. Any suggestions? thanks

Do a tympanogram test of your ear. See if there is B type curve or not. Consult an ENT surgeon. Take antiallergic tablet levocetirizine at bedtime for 3 weeks. Take nasal spray Fluticasone nasal spray 2 puff twice daily x 1 month. Don't put water in your ears.
