Suggest Remedy For Extreme Pain,swelling And Bruising In Hand

I have injured the outside of my right hand from my pinky to my wrist. I have significant swelling and bruising along the 5th metacarpal area. I went to an urgent care clinic today and they took xrays. They said they didn t see any fracture, but it is extremely painful and very tender to the touch. Is it possible that they couldn t see the fracture? Also what treatment should I do for this severe bruise ?

After going through your query I concluded that you have got severe bruising in your hand. You has already had x ray and excluded fracture. You are asking that is it possible to miss fracture in x ray. It is unlike however minor undislaced fracture may not be visible on x ray. You had a deep abrasion and these are also quite painful like fractures. You can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. If pain is more than strong analgesic such as tramadol can be used along with domperidome. Antibiotics and vitamin B complex are useful. You can discuss with your Doctor about it.
