Suggest Remedy For Extreme Rectal Discomfort And Bleeding
I'm having extreme rectal discomfort, and it almost feels like I can't use the bathroom anymore. I do have Crohn's, and I'm worried it could be something terrible. I always have rectal bleeding, a leakage that looks like water, and I'm always in discomfort. Like I have to use the restroom, but I can't.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Your symptoms seem to be related to hemorrhoids. Some advices that I can give to you are:
- Add fiber to your diet slowly to avoid problems with gas. - Use topical treatments. Apply an over-the-counter hemorrhoid cream or suppository containing hydrocortisone. - Use pads containing witch hazel or a numbing agent. - Soak regularly in a warm bath or sitz bath.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
