Suggest Remedy For Fatigue Post Coreg Intake

I have been taking CO-REg and it makes me so tired all I want to do is sleep. I had open heart surgery last summer - 2 valve replacement and need to find a replacement drug for my BP. Also have me on Norvasc 5 Mg. but I do not have angina. I do have a rapid heart beat. Tried Losarten but made me anxious and very angry. Doing well, just need better BP control. Maybe these are too complicated questions for an online chat? Any particular drugs good for valve replacement patients?

Hello,

As a blocker of the stress hormones, it can make someone feel a bit limp. Norvasc works on blood pressure and its maximal dose is about 20 mg (4x higher) and could substitute for some of the BP effects of coreg.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Matt Wachsman, Addiction Medicine Specialist
