Suggest Remedy For Fever And Weakness In Toddler

My 21 month old son had a fever of over 102.0 we gave him tylenol and it went down and he felt fine. After four hours he is back to just wanting to lay on us which is not like him. We just gave him some more tylenol and he is now in bed. What should we do?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello,

This is expected. Tylenol drug typically lasts about four hours. You can continue to use the Tylenol every four hours.

However, if his symptoms persist beyond two days, then I recommend consulting with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Eric Goldstein
