Suggest Remedy For Fever

My daugher (6 years old) has been running fever since Tuesday night. We took her to the doctor and he said that she had the flu and put her on Tamiflu (she has been on the medication since Wednesday afternoon). It is now Friday night and she is still running fever and has been have frequent nose bleeds. Should I be worried?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, mam you need not be worried. I would want to know if any blood tests were done or not. I would also want to o know if the nose bleed was a single episode or repeated, and for how long it lasted.

Coming to fever , is paracetamol given? I would suggest a combination of Ibugesic plus and Paracetamol, like Syrp Imol. Well the dose again depends on the weight of the kid.
Flu will take some time to get cured. Rest with lot of liquids will help a lot.

Just not to miss other infections the blood tests are required.

Thank you
