Suggest Remedy For Fever

My 6 year old daughter has been running a fever since Friday. She has a cough and a headache. I have been giving her medicine since Friday and she hasn't gotten any better. She tested positive for mono last year. Im not sure if this is mono or something else. I have been giving her lots of fluids and am not sure what else I can do.

Thanks for the query.

Fever might be due to viral or bacterial infection which is also causing cough to the child.

Till the time you cure the underlying disease you will not get the fever down.

Most people who have infectious mononucleosis, or mono, get it only once. Rarely, however, mononucleosis symptoms may recur months or even years later.

Better to see a doctor.

Hope i helped you.
