Hello,
Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. Soreness of the vagina with painful sexual intercourse can happen due to lack of sufficient lubrication, rough intercourse, infection or allergy to the chemicals in condoms, if used. To help in lubrication K-Y jelly can be used. Avoid intercourse until healing is complete and the soreness disappears. Avoid douches and strong soap solutions to clean the genital region. Avoid tampons and instead, use sanitary napkins. See your health care provider for proper management. Take care.
