Suggest Remedy For Haemorrhoid Causing Extreme Pain

Hello i just needed advice my husband has what we believe is a hemorrhoid it started about 2 days ago he is in extreme pain and its seems to be getting bigger and now seems to have some purple color in the center along with what looks like blood we tried ointment and tucks pads nothing works should he be taken to the emergency room or does it have to go away on its own he is 33

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that your husband is suffering from Hemorrhoids also known as Piles and the purple bump sticking out from anus is due to it

Hemorrhoids are inflamed and swollen veins that are formed when there is continuous irritation of the veins present in the rectum area and inflammation can lead to pain and bleeding during bowel evacuation..

In case if there is no improvement with ointments and tuck pads consult a Proctologist and get evaluated and a clinical evaluation and anoscopy can be done for diagnosis..
He can be advised:
-Application of steroid and numbing ointment..
- Application of Anovate ointment can help..
-Sitz bath that is sitting in warm water tub especially after bowels....
-Do cool compresses to reduce inflammation..
-High fibre diet along with laxatives like Polyethylene glycol and stool softeners like Docusate to maintain proper bowels..
-Avoid spicy food and drink plenty of water..

-In case of no improvement with medical treatment you can be advised surgical procedures like Rubber band ligation, sclerotherapy or Hemorrhoidectomy that is surgical removal of the hemorrhoids..
